MEET SARAH

Sarah gives off a warmth and magnetism when around people. Upon meeting her as your luxury interior designer, you will feel relaxed and confident due to her engaging manner and businesslike approach. She’s a pen to paper kind of person, visual, loves creative writing, sketching, climbing mountains and studying maps.

Growing up between the UK and South Africa, a lover of the outdoors and at home wherever she settles. Driving from Cornwall to Mongolia in a 1.3 litre Ford Fiesta was her most treasured mission, sleeping in a tent most of the 12,000 km to Ulaan Bataar.

Sarah has always been drawn to the Italian style of architectural design, antiques and objects. Inspired by the richness of colours in India, she delights in pattern design from around the globe. Her explorative, energetic and practical nature are woven into her design work, as is her understanding of people, their lifestyle and their homes.

Sarah is conscientious of the natural world around her and tries to maintain an empathetic approach in her design work regarding paints, antiques and FSC certified timber for her bespoke joinery and furniture pieces that she designs for clients.

Sarah’s background

Sarah began her work as a luxury interior designer in Hong Kong in 2011 working on a range of commercial projects: a Polynesian cocktail bar in central Hong Kong, offices, art galleries and residential apartments. Her attention to detail in her work and her practical approach to procurement and functionality of space became integral to her work there.

Sarah trained at the Inchbald Design School in London. Her practice specialises in residential and commercial projects – in town and country. These include the full re-design of a Grade II listed country house on a Cornish estate and surrounding properties for commercial use, a Georgian manor house amongst other private residential properties. She is currently working on part of a Palladian residential home in Southern England. Sarah’s broad network of architects, contractors, joiners, specialists & craftsmen means she customises her team to suit the high end projects that she undertakes.

The firm is established as one of the most personable luxury interior design offices of high-end design, bespoke furnishings and a style that is always evolving, yet always distinguishable for its elegant style, harmonious use of colour, texture, pattern, art and antiques.
